Does Anyone Know Where Rosacea Comes From?

Not really. An educated guess is that the rosacea problem is related to neurology. In some families it seems to be hereditary. People of European descent tend to acquire this problem more than other races. As far as the flushing and blushing appearance, very intense temperatures, too much exposure to the sun, and even certain strenuous exercises have been slated as causes of rosacea. Spicy food, caffeine filled foods, and alcohol can attribute to the flush face. Even stress and anxiety are related to this disease. Exact causes of rosacea are yet to be determined. Despite the continuous research, it is all speculation rather than proven facts.
