Following a more healthy diet after prostate cancer surgery will keep your energy high and weight under control. Avoid fatty or processed meats (bacon, bologna, wieners, etc.) Stick to whole grain versus white bread. Avoid drinking in excess. Be sure to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables daily, preferably five or more servings. Doing these things will keep you strong and full of life after prostrate cancer surgery. What’s essential is sticking to it—it’s hard to fight back the desire to eat the same old things but with the support of your friends and family, you can make it happen.
