Diabetes during pregnancies is called gestational diabetes. This usually occurs after during 24-28 weeks of pregnancy. Usually a women suffering from gestational diabetes may not show any symptoms at all while some others may have some symptoms. They are not drastic hence during pregnancies doctors always check the blood sugar level of pregnant woman to avoid complications. Some common gestational diabetes symptoms are frequent urinating, increased thirst, and feeling of tiredness. However these symptoms are very much common to pregnancy hence doctors only confirm it via test. Normally gestational diabetes goes away after the baby is born, but one must take care to control the sugar level so that the baby in the womb doesn’t suffer from any complications.
