Personal Trainers vs Fitness Trainers

So what's the difference between a personal trainer and a fitness trainer? Are they just different names for the same thing? I notice that more people seem to be calling themselves a fitness trainer lately. Before, everyone wanted to be known as a "personal trainer". I suppose it might have something to do with the fact that celebrities have their own personal trainers, so being known as one of those used to offer some kind of cachet. Now that everyone has jumped on that bandwagon, maybe referring to yourself as a fitness trainer confers a sort of exclusivity.
